Beach Vacation?

Summer time is here...some of us are planning a beach vacation. Besides the obvious of playing on the beach...what are you going to do on your vacation? What beach are you visiting for your vacation?

i am gonna go to the indiana dunes and i heard there is like tropical areas too so maybe look around besides playing.
there are tons of things to do. if you want to get closer to the nature and go for a "geography" tour, Grand Canyon and Yosemite national park are a good choice. Theme parks in LA such as universal studio, disneyland and magic mountain are good places to visit as well. LA Vegas for casinos, shows and buffets are good all year round. For beaches, personally i love the one at Santa Monica in LA. There are some many activites for you to do over there - swimming, surfing, volleyball, biking and more. I'm heading to Jamaica in August...so I'm looking forward to time on the beach as well! When I booked my trip with Spirit Vacations, they had a page on their site that listed good nightlife recommendations...so I'm thinking we'll hit the beach during the day and the clubs at night!
We r going to Santa Monica, Redondo & Manhattan beach. I'm gonna cook a grand feast at our home when all friends 'd gather. I live in Los Angeles.
I am going to Sweden with my wife to pick up her Volvo as part of the Oversea Delivery program. Stockholm is a bunch of islands, but I don't expect to spend time on the beach. Yet the days will be about 18 Hours long so....
