why is there 2 busines by the name A&E Travel?

I opened a travel bussiness and i find that there is 2 with the same name that's not good.

1. Don't know how that happened, but don't make the same mistake. You want something unique and catchy.
2. If they are strictly internet businesses, that is entirely possible because you do not have to have a DBA for an internet biz. Also if they are in different states, the only requirement for a DBA is that no one else in your state has that name already. If they are both actual 'traditional' office/agency type biz's in the same state, then you probably need to talk to someone at the state level. But at any rate you are right. having 2 TB's with the same name is NOT good at all for either of you. I googled A&E Travel and came up with the television station A&E site. good luck..
